We have several studio policies that are important for each client to read over before committing to come for sessions. This will help keep each client's experience here at the studio a positive one. After reading the policies, if you have any questions or concerns, please use the contact form. We'd love to know your expectations for us at the studio.

Membership Policies

Memberships are charged based on a 4-week billing cycle. Your pass will become active upon your first class attendance and is renewed every 28 days on your credit card.

Because of the small group class format of only five clients attending, we need notice if you can’t come to your scheduled class. All clients with memberships can cancel up to 24 hours before their scheduled session, just like any physiotherapy clinic and personal training studio. Please give more than 24 hours notice, if possible. Please log onto the Pilates Life Punch Pass scheduling system, find the class you can’t attend and cancel yourself out. If cancelling without 24 hours notice, it is considered a late cancel and one class pass on your account will be counted as being used.

Clients will be charged a $10 fee for no-shows, in addition to losing one class pass. Clients must late cancel their scheduled class on the online scheduling system, optionally clients are welcome to email or text Amy if they can't make their class last minute.

If cancelling 24 hours or more before your upcoming session, you have until the end of your current billing cycle to make up that missed class in any available class on the schedule. Make up sessions are based on class availability and not guaranteed. Log into the Pilates Life Punch Pass scheduling system, find the next available class you are able to attend, and follow prompts to add yourself to the class.

If you are experiencing a fever, feeling ill (where you may be contagious), and/or have a significant cough, please cancel your upcoming class on the Pilates Life Studio’s Punch Pass scheduling system, and stay home to get well. Please text or email Amy to inform her. If you have a negative COVID test, no fever, no other symptoms, and have a very minimal cough you are welcome to join the class. Please note: if cancelling before the 24 hour time frame, you are able to make up that session within your current billing cycle. However, if less than 24 hours, a class on your pass will still be counted as being used because that time slot was being saved for you.

Sessions start right on time and doors lock at start time. Please knock on door if arriving late. Traffic, important calls, or other unforeseen circumstances are totally understandable. Please keep late arrivals to a minimum as what we do at the beginning of the session is important for the entire length of class.

With 14 days notice memberships can be paused for up to 21 days for holidays and/or medical leave without losing your preferred standing reservation day(s) and time(s). For planned absences missing 2 classes or less please find make up classes before and/or after your time away. For absences including 3 classes or more you are able to pause your membership during your time away. Requirement for membership pause: cancel your day(s) away on the Punch Pass Scheduling system and email Amy of needing to pause membership (please do not text or inform during class, email only). Please request pauses infrequently (2-3x per year).

Memberships renewals are lengthened to include your next scheduled standing reservation date for all sessions that fall on a statutory holiday. This also applies to session cancellations due to snow days.

All memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable.

To cancel your membership one full renewal period is required by emailing Amy (please do not text or inform during class, email only). For cancelling in the middle of the 28 days, the cancellation would occur 28 days AFTER the latest renewal period. Standing reservations are cancelled at the start of the last renewal period, class passes are on account to sign up for available classes on the schedule. For new memberships, three month minimum needed before canceling.
Package Policies
Purchasing session passes are done through the Pilates Life Punch Pass scheduling system. Payment is required before booking your appointments.
Drop in passes are not always an option as we often limit the amount of drop in passes available to purchase to keep available spots for our members. You are welcome to connect with Amy with your interest to purchase a pass.

After purchasing your pass, please head to the Pilates Life Studio’s Punch Pass scheduling system to find an available session you'd like to attend. Follow the prompts to book your spot into the desired day and time. You can book into any available spot on the schedule up to 30 days ahead for group sessions and 60 days ahead for private and duo sessions. Please only book into sessions you plan on attending, please do not overbook sessions intending to cancel most. For duo sessions, find an available private session time on the online scheduling system and then connect with us you’d like to have a duo there instead.

Quick How-Tos
Sometimes the scheduling system can be a bit tricky to figure out the first couple of times.
Provided are quick step by step guides.

For Memberships and Drop-In Passes: All class cancellations are done by the client through the Pilates Life Studio’s Punch Pass scheduling system. Once on the scheduling website, log in using the same email you receive your session reminders. Once logged in, you will see the "My Reservations" tab, click that and you will find all the sessions you are registered for. Find the session you are unable to attend, click that, and then click the "cancel reservation" button. Then head to the schedule to find a session that has an opening that you can attend and sign up. We require 24 hours minimum notice for any cancellation.
For Memberships Class Make-Ups: Log into the Pilates Life Studio’s Punch Pass scheduling system, find the next available class you are able to attend, and follow prompts to add yourself to the class. Make-up class needs to be in current billing cycle.

All memberships have access to helpful guided workouts you can do as "homework" on days you are not in the studio.
To access this library, head to the Pilates Life Studio’s Punch Pass scheduling system and log in. Once logged in you will see "Content Library" appear in the menu. Click that, and you will find 25 guided workout videos consisting of cardio HIIT, Pilates mat, and a few strength workouts. -
Head to the Pilates Life Punch Pass scheduling system and click “Purchase a Pass”. Pick from one of the memberships available. Enter your first and last name, email, and select the date for your first session and click “Purchase Membership”. You will be directed to create a log in and to input your credit card information. Afterwards you can sign up for sessions. Email Amy amy@pilateslife.ca if you would like a standing reservation for your desired sessions.

Head to the Pilates Life Punch Pass scheduling system and click “Purchase a Pass”. Pick from one of the pass packages available. Click “sign in” if you already have an account or “create account”. Enter your necessary information by following the prompts. Afterwards you can sign up for available sessions on the online scheduling system.
